Meet Our Family

Troy and Julia were married in 1998 and lived in Jewell County for 4 years before moving to their farm near Perth Kansas in south central Kansas. They have two children, Sammie and Trey. Troy, Julia, Sammie and Trey just received the 100 year family farm award with Farm Bureau.

Sammie is a Freshmen at Kansas State University.  Her major is Food science, where she hopes to someday be in food production.  She still has her Charolais herd, which she started while in 4-H.  She enjoys her time at college going to all of the football, volleyball, and basketball games.

Trey is a junior at Caldwell High School. He enjoys playing football, basketball, and track. He has already received several awards while playing football, his favorite is All State tight end. He is in the beginning process of choosing a college to go to. He is wanting to major in Agriculture and possibly continue his football career. He still works hard on the farm with the cattle and has recently bought his first piece of farm ground.

Troy is very busy with his farming operation. He served on the Corbin UMC trustee board, a 4h project leader, and the Sumner County Fair Board. He enjoys working with the kids in their 4h projects. Julia is busy keeping everyone where they need to be. She has just completed her term as the Lay leader of the Corbin UMC. She is still on the church board, a member of the Sumner County Fair Board, 4h Community Leader and now on the Kansas Fairs and Festivals Board.
